MISSION SOUTH AFRICA 2011

Dorchester Community Church is privileged to have a growing group of enthusiastic and vibrant young people. The church continually endeavours to nurture and develop these teenagers and to enable them to take active roles within the community and church. One initiative the church would like the teenagers to benefit from, is a mission to South Africa.

The aim is for the teenagers to plan and run a holiday club for disadvantaged children (approx. 100-200 children) in a small rural town called Siyabuswa. We will be working closely with a Christian organisation called Hope for Africa and there will also be opportunities to work in the local school and church. Through this, the overall aim is to bring the good news of the gospel to the youth of the town.
