Belonging is apparently what many are looking for today, and the Church provides the perfect environment. We hope that anyone who comes to Acland Road will be made to feel very welcome, as this helps a person feel that they might be able to belong. Certainly the longstanding reputation of the Church is that it is ‘friendly’…

No matter who you are, whatever your age or background, we would love to see you. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (1 Cor 12: 27)

Baptism is, of course, a public statement of our belonging to the wider Christian Church, and you can read about that elsewhere.

Three of the best ways to help you feel you belong are :-

• Staying for coffee after a service!

• Joining a ‘LIFE Group’

• Serving in a particular area of Church life
