Membership - Believing

Believing is what enables us to become a Christian (John 3: 16). It is believing, or trusting, that Jesus did for us what we could never do for ourselves. “Salvation is found in no-one else” (Acts 4: 12), which although unpopular in the world we live is nonetheless the bottom line for a fresh start with God. The good news is that God wants everyone to believe. His forgiveness is a gift, but like any gift it has to be received to do the person any good.

We believe the whole Bible, that’s where the word ‘evangelical’ comes from. We teach on this and try, with God’s help, to put what we discover into practise. We are far from perfect. We make mistakes too, but we have God’s book there to steer us back in the right direction.

The Bible gives us answers to all we need to know, not just in spiritual areas but in areas of life’s biggest issues too, like family, money, employment, relationships etc…

We believe the Bible is God’s Word, for all people, for all time.
